How Many Veo Videos Does Google AI Pro Get You in Flow?

Google AI Pro ($19.99/mo) gets you 100 Veo 3.1 Lite clips, 50 Fast clips, or 10 Quality clips a month in Flow, or any mix that adds up to 1,000 credits. Each clip runs up to 8 seconds. That works out to about 13 minutes of Lite footage, under 7 minutes of Fast, or 80 seconds of Quality. Unused credits don’t roll over, so budget by the month.

The credit table

These are Google’s own Flow help figures as of September 29, 2026. Credits are charged per generation, and one generation is one clip of up to 8 seconds.

Model Credits per clip Ultra credits per clip
Veo 3.1 Lite 10 5
Veo 3.1 Fast 20 10
Veo 3.1 Quality 100 100

Ultra subscribers pay half on Lite and Fast. Quality costs 100 credits on every plan.

What each plan buys

Plan Price Monthly credits Lite clips Fast clips Quality clips
Free $0 50 a day 5 a day 2 a day 0
Google AI Plus $4.99/mo 200 20 10 2
Google AI Pro $19.99/mo 1,000 100 50 10
Google AI Ultra 5x $99.99/mo 10,000 2,000 1,000 100
Google AI Ultra 20x $199.99/mo 25,000 5,000 2,500 250

The free tier can’t generate a Quality clip at all. A Quality clip costs 100 credits, the free tier gives 50 a day, and daily credits don’t carry over.

The number that matters: cost per Quality clip

On Pro, a Quality clip costs about $2 of your subscription ($19.99 ÷ 10). On the $99.99 Ultra tier it’s about $1, and on the top tier about $0.80. Ultra’s discount doesn’t apply to Quality, so these gains come only from the larger credit pool.

The bigger lever is on Lite and Fast. Ultra’s half rate means the $99.99 tier gets 20 times Pro’s Lite output for 5 times the price. If most of your work is drafts and B-roll, that is where the upgrade pays for itself.

How to spend 1,000 credits without running dry

  • Draft in Lite, finish in Quality. Test prompts, framing and camera moves at 10 credits. Spend 100 credits only on the shot you’ll keep.
  • Cap Quality at five clips a month on Pro. That’s half your credits. The other 500 buy 50 Lite drafts to get there.
  • Plan in 8-second shots. Each generation is one clip of up to 8 seconds, so a 30-second sequence is at least four generations. Storyboard it before you spend.
  • Spend before the month resets. Monthly credits don’t roll over. An idle week is lost credit.

When Pro is enough, and when it isn’t

Stay on Pro if Veo covers a few hero shots a month, such as an opener, a product moment or a transition. Ten Quality clips, or a mix of Quality and Lite, handles that. You also get the rest of the Google AI Pro bundle.

Move to the $99.99 Ultra tier once you’re running out of credits before the month ends, and Lite or Fast drafts are what’s using them up. The half rate on those two models is where the money goes furthest.

Look elsewhere if you need clips longer than 8 seconds from a single generation, or one subscription covering several models. Kling handles longer single-pass clips, and Runway bills Veo, Kling and its own Gen-4.5 through one credit pool. See how much AI video Runway gets you to run the same math there.

Budget by finished seconds, not by the plan name. The map comes before the automation, and here the map is a shot list. See the Veo tool page for current pricing and what’s changed.
