The rules we hold ourselves to

• Pricing is verified and dated. Every tool page shows when its facts were last checked. If a price changed since, the tool's own site is the source of truth.

Why we do it this way

This is required by the FTC's endorsement guides (16 CFR Part 255) — and it would be the policy anyway. A recommendation you can't trust is worthless, and trust is the only asset a review site actually owns.
