- Verified on mistral.ai/pricing: prices hold (Free / Pro $14.99 / Team $24.99 per user, $50/mo minimum / Enterprise custom). Corrections: the Free tier no longer lists bundled API credits (we had $10/mo), and the student plan's API credits are $25.50/mo, not $30. The verdict's connector count now matches the page's 100+.
- NEWS SCAN: Mistral Large 4 is in public API preview through Mistral Studio, with open weights due by the end of October. It was added to the model list. Vibe availability and API pricing are not stated yet. Plan pricing wasn't re-verified this pass, and the verdict is unchanged.
- Name drift we'd missed: Mistral renamed Le Chat to Mistral Vibe, merging chat and its coding agent into one product with three modes (Vibe Work, Vibe Code, Vibe Chat). Mistral's help center dates the rename August 12, 2026; some coverage says May 28, so we don't state a date. Accounts, plans, and conversations carried over, and chat.mistral.ai still works.
